3.1.3. Removal, check and installation of a persistent plate and the conducted clutch plate (without SAC)

NOTE
For prevention of damage of petals of a spring of a persistent plate use the KM special adaptation 6263 at removal and installation.

NOTE
Pay attention to different lengths of arms for accession of KM 6263 when lowering the block of the engine.

Removal
Remove the transmission

NOTE
The KM special adaptation 6263 can be attached only to the engine block, but not to the oil pallet.

Attach the KM special adaptation 6263 to the block of the engine and wrap 4 bolts (arrows in the drawing).

NOTE
Do not tighten bolts.

Attach special KM-6263-30 (4) adaptation to a centering mandrel.

Fix the KM special adaptation 6263.
Combine the KM special adaptation 6263 with the center.
Establish a centering mandrel with special KM-6263-30 adaptation through KM 6263 in a clutch plate and a bent shaft (center).
Tighten a bolt and a nut.
Tighten 4 bolts of the KM special adaptation 6263 on the engine block.
Release the conducted clutch plate.
Install the KM special adaptation 6263 so that it was opposite to petals of a spring of a persistent plate.
Turn the KM special adaptation 6263 clockwise to the limiter.
Remove a persistent plate from a flywheel.
Turn off 6 bolts of fastening (an arrow in the drawing).

NOTE
In the drawing coupling without the KM special adaptation 6263 and a centering mandrel is shown.

Disconnect a persistent plate and a clutch plate.
Turn the KM special adaptation 6263 counterclockwise to the limiter and extend a centering mandrel from special KM-6263-30 adaptation.

Check
Check a persistent plate and the conducted clutch plate for wear.
Replace in case of need.

NOTE
The clutch plates polluted by working off products (the oil clearing means, etc.) have to be replaced. Check the conducted clutch plate for existence of damages and products of friction on a nave and replace in case of need. Do not clear a persistent plate and the conducted clutch plate a cleaner of high pressure or the jet washer.

Check a condition of a surface of friction of a flywheel for lack of cracks, a prigar and wear of a surface.
Check a condition of frictional overlays of the conducted clutch plate and in the presence traces of oil or mechanical damages replace the conducted disk with them.
Check thickness of overlays of the conducted clutch plate, by means of a caliper with the nonius. Slips have to act over heads of rivets not less than on 0,3 mm.
If thickness of slips is less admissible or heads of rivets are close to a working surface, replace them or the conducted clutch plate. Check that springs were not broken and on them there were no cracks. Check for lack of wear of a vent in a clutch plate nave.
Establish a clutch plate on a transmission shaft.
The conducted clutch plate has to slide easily and smoothly on vents of a main shaft of the transmission.

ATTENTION
If replacement of the conducted clutch plate is made, it is necessary to replace also the bearing of switching off of coupling.

Using the indicator of hour type, check a clutch plate beating.
Minimum beating: 0,8 mm.
Using a caliper with the nonius, check depth and width of wear of petals of a diaphragm spring.
At most:
And (Depth): 0,5 mm
B (Width): 6,0 mm

NOTE
Insignificant damages of a surface of friction can be removed with a fine-grained emery paper, but in case of any doubts concerning a condition of a press disk it needs to be replaced new.

Using the indicator of hour type, check a flywheel beating.
Maximum beating: 0,1 mm
Rotate the bearing of switching off of coupling by a hand, putting effort in the axial direction, check the coupling switching off bearing.

NOTE
In the bearing lubricant is put, thus, the additional lubricant calculated for all term of operation is not required.
In case of need, replace the coupling switching off bearing.

If new details are established, surely find out what press and the conducted disk are required on designation of the engine and its number to exclude a mistake. If the coupling details which were in work are established, they need to be checked previously.
Before installation of a new press disk corrosion and protective lubricant needs to be removed only on a working surface. In other places lubricant is not recommended to be deleted at all since it can significantly lower coupling service life.
Check reliability of installation of the aligning pins on a flywheel.
Clear a rust on shlitsevy connection of the conducted disk. Grease teeths of a main shaft of the transmission with a thin layer of MoS2 lubricant. On HUNDRED apply G000100 lubricant to this purpose. After that move the conducted disk on primary to a shaft so that the nave easily went on a shaft. Surely remove surplus of lubricant.
Apply jellied lubricant on the surfaces of contact of the coupling and a fork of switching off of coupling, a fork and a pusher and a point of support of a fork.
Apply jellied lubricant for shlitsevy connections of coupling and on vents of the leading shaft.
Install a fork of switching off of coupling with the bearing of switching off of coupling in the transmission.

NOTE
After installation, move a fork for check of smoothness of movement of the release bearing forward and back.

Installation

NOTE
Alphabetic reference of "Transmission side" has to be turned to the transmission.

Attach the conducted clutch plate and a persistent plate to a flywheel.
Center a persistent plate and a clutch plate a centering mandrel and special KM-6263-30 adaptation.

NOTE
For descriptive reasons the figure 3.13 shows coupling without KM adaptation 6263.

Wrap 6 new bolts (arrows in the drawing).

NOTE
Do not tighten bolts.

Attach a persistent plate to a flywheel.
Turn the KM special adaptation 6263 clockwise to the limiter.
Tighten 6 bolts of fastening the moment of 15 N · m.

NOTE
Tighten bolts crosswisely.

Disconnect the KM special adaptation 6263 from the engine block. Turn counterclockwise to the limiter and disconnect a centering mandrel and KM-6263-30.
Turn off 4 bolts of the KM special adaptation 6263 on the engine block.
Install the transmission.
