3.1.4. Replacement of a pedal of coupling

Removal
Remove facing of a steering column.
Remove light switch.
Press light switch at the left, turn clockwise and remove it.
Remove the lower overlay of the dashboard, having turned off 4 bolts of fastening.
Disconnect the operating coupling switch.
Disconnect a returnable spring from a coupling pedal
Disconnect a coupling pedal from the main cylinder of coupling.
Unbend the screw-driver up and disconnect a clamping level.
Turn off a pedal bolt.
Disconnect a pedal support from a cross-piece.
On cars with the left arrangement of steering turn off 2 bolts of fastening.
On cars with the right arrangement of steering turn off a fastening nut.
Disconnect a pedal support from the main cylinder of coupling, having turned off 2 nuts of fastening.
Move back main cylinder of coupling.

NOTE
Do not damage plaits of wires and the attached elements.

Remove a pedal support accurately assembled with a coupling pedal.

Installation
Establish a pedal support with a coupling pedal.

NOTE
At installation use new bolts.

Attach a pedal support to a cross-piece, having tightened 2 nuts of fastening the moment of 20 N · m.

NOTE
Use new nuts.

Attach a coupling pedal to the main cylinder of coupling.
Attach a clamping level.

NOTE
Use a new clamping level.

Attach a returnable spring to a coupling pedal.
Attach the operating coupling switch.
Establish the lower overlay of the dashboard.
Install the switch of light and turn counterclockwise.
Establish a casing of a steering column.
