The petrol engines installed on the Opel cars are equipped with electronic systems of injection of fuel: the integrated control system of injection for each cylinder and system of ignition (DOHC-I) with consecutive injection. Such system of injection provides highly effective preparation of fuel-air mix. Each cylinder is equipped with a separate fuel nozzle which sprays fuel just before the inlet valve of the cylinder.
Principle of an external smeseobrazovaniye: fuel is injected just before the inlet valve. The fuel-air mix getting thus to the combustion chamber is uniform. Thanks to a close arrangement to each other of the inlet valve and a fuel nozzle mix quickly gets to the combustion chamber. It reduces probability of hit of vapors of gasoline in an inlet collector. Systems of injection of fuel with electronic control differ on different types of engines, but the principle of their work is almost identical. Distinctions are shown generally only in parameters and locations of these blocks.
The electric fuel pump forces fuel on a distributive pipe (the fuel distributor) to fuel nozzles. The regulator of pressure supports constant pressure in system and sends unspent fuel back to the fuel tank.
In an electronic control unit the butterfly valve located a butterfly valve which by means of the sensor and the control unit is connected with an accelerator pedal. The stronger the pedal is pressed, the butterfly valve opens more. By full pressing of a pedal the gate opens completely. Here the sensor of a butterfly valve and the valve of stabilization of idling is located. At big loading of the engine idling, at the working climatic installation or the electrohydraulic booster of steering involved at full capacity this gate allows to give additional amount of air. The electronic control unit the engine distinguishes increase in a stream of air by means of the measuring instrument of amount of the soaked-up air and gives the command to inject more fuel. Idling is so stabilized.
